You want to wait until Sarleon is already at war with two other factions, then quickly take Laria and hire a mercenary company. Say you chose the area around Laria, which is an awesome spot. Already have all of that done? Time for more waiting. Build up your relations with villages where you are going to start your kingdom, the ability to recruit more and higher tier soldiers in the area will come in handy. Take the time to get enterprises going everywhere as well as getting and then sending out each companion to get some right to rule.

I have played for a long time and maxed out an army at I have really good relations with Fierdsvain and it's vassals I have about k in denars and good equipment. But a new kingdom is kind of far from my plans, I just want to found a good KO and start building something.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.Ĭhange language. Do you have a lot of friends who will join you in your new kingdom? You can't go it alone. I wouldn't waste money on an expensive knight's order until I have a secure kingdom and that costs a lot of money. MODERATORSĭo you have high paying enterprises in every city? That is an absolute must before you go independent. Generally speaking, all KOs are significantly stronger and it really comes down to what you want roleplay, armour, types of troop, etc. If it lacks archers, Silvermist has great archers and for heavy infantry Kraken Cultists are probably the best option. As a result, will also be unable to take the grandmaster quest unless you enable cheats, then activating the quest should be at cheatmenu. However don't join your own CKO, they will only give their armor once with no positive modifiers and you will suddenly promote to grandmaster. If you unlock the best equipments, sure you can make them the strongest KO. There should be an option releasing them "for teaching their secrets" or something. To do this, capture a unique spawn and talk with them while they are your prisoner. Truly strong equipment should be unlocked by you. At first they only have access to somewhat powerful armor. Under player's command every KO that's above average can work.

For heavy cavalry I used Dawn even though there are better heavy cav KOs reminder this was before their level is reduced to 40 from 50, don't know if this is a nerf for skills or buff for lower wages. To be honest, you don't have to choose the best of the best. Still, many late game armor can outmatch even the best KO armor so you can just not care about armor either and go for the looks.

You can join them for free, high quality armor. However Knights of KOs give you their armor as you level up in their ranks.

In some occasions you get free troops of that KO but eh, it's not enough to make a difference in my opinion. If you want their troops, you don't really need to join them. Meaning, having highly skilled companions, a walled settlement and enough money for equipment upgrades. I have around k denars, is it a good time to take this direction? As soon as possible. My weekly expenses always comes up around k, so I have to grind some tournaments in order to not fuck my budget up. Currently I'm a vassal for Ravenstern, roaming around Pendor with a army 40 expensive Hero Adventurers, and othersI own Ravenstern city, a castle and another village.
